Disabling all color filters in one click
AnsweredWhen using a color filter on a view, I sometimes have 30+ items in that view. It takes a lot of clicking to disable all the items, if you want to show only one item. This is especially time consuming when you are going back and forth between two color filters in one view. I would like to have the option to disable all items at once.

Yes indeed. You have my vote!
30+ items in a view is a lot however.
Preferably all switched off at the start, to prevent a highly colourful view (especially ugly when based on relations, because you cannot determine the colours there), from overwhelming the spectators.
Over 5 colours on one object is already too much if you ask me, to show at once, leave be all the other object that get coloured on that same view.

I agree that 30+ is overdoing it. In most cases less is definily more, in this instance it is just the way it is. I saw your wish and I am a fan, you got my vote!

Jolly good! Thanks.

Nienke van Liempd Via the eye-symbol next to the section, you can turn everything in that section on or off completely. Is that what you mean?

I think the point is that you want to switch on or off **all** the eye symbols in one click instead of having to click them all?
But I see now what you mean Kim. There is actually an eye next to the section title!
Never noticed it. Haha! The other sections have it aswell.

The focus on the usage of the colour filter is probably to dominant when I'm using the legend.

The eye symbol next to the section is exactly what I was looking for. I never noticed it either, when looking for a way to switch off all options. Thank you so much for your comment! This makes my life a lot easier!

Hopefully, this is useful and will save you a lot of time!
Nienke van Liempd Can I close this wish-item?

Sure! Maybe we could formulate a new wish, to change the UI. The option to select/deselect entire sections would be easier to find if there was a little eye icon next to it. Just as it is with the selection onptions below it. I've shown this to two more people in my organation. Both had been looking for this option, but hadn't found it and were happy with the fact this is already available.

Hey Nienke van Liempd,
Tarcan Yönel here, UX Designer for BlueDolphin.
Thank you for reporting this issue.
I am adding an entry describing it to a list of items that need improvement.
These kinds of changes are typically worked on when the component, here the legend, receives other large updates.

That is great news! Thank you for this feedback!
