Show data of other BPMN-objects in process portal (not only tasks)
Answered- What is your wish?
In the current situation we can enter on each BPMN-object data (related to the BPMN questionnaire). However, when the process is made official, only the data of the task BPMN-object is shown in the most right column. We want to show info of all objects (events, gateways).
Nice to have: ability (for instance a flag) on each BPMN-type to decide if data from this object-type is shown in the process portal in the most right column.
- Why do you want this wish?
Ability to also see data from other objects to help the user to understand the diagram
- Do you have a workaround? And if so, what is it?
Put description in free text in the diagram.
- How would you ideally solve the problem?
See above.
- How big is the wish on a scale from 1 to 5? (1 = it would be nice, but definitely not necessary, and 5 = I cannot work another day without it).

I'd like this as well and would even qualify it higher than a 2/5. The info in gateways is usually critical, so we need the info in the officialisation of the process.

Hi All,
Thanks for the wish and additional feedback! It'll be added to my monthly feedback meeting!

We have created to wishes out of this feedback:
Wish 1: Possibility to add details (properties) on all object types in BPMN (so not only on BPMN tasks)
Wish '2' (addition of wish 1): Ability to select which properties from the object types must be shown in the Process Portal. This will be on our short-term list, but I don't know exactly when it will be released. I suggest keeping an eye on our roadmap and the release channel!

Kim van Rooijen I think we can already do what you call Wish 1, the point here is that it doesn't show in the Process Description in the right panel of the Process Portal. This leads to information loss as users who only use the Process Portal cannot see what questions are asked at Gateways. This results in not being able to use the Process Portal, so everyone wanting to view the process needs to be a "normal" user.
Hence, Wish 2: Yes please.
