You can link multiple other views to a freeshape on a view. The advantage of this is that it is easy to click through a freehshape to another view, which makes it easy to set up a good navigation structure in BlueDolphin and, for example, to add in-depth insights to certain parts of the view.
In the edit mode, you can link a view to a freeshape by clicking on that freeshape. The following tools will be shown:
By clicking on , you will see a list of all the views that you can choose from.
As you can see in the picture above, you can search for a view in the search bar or browse through the different categories. By clicking on the view(s), it will be linked to the freeshape.
In view mode , you can navigate to the linked toolbox (s). A freeshape to which a view is linked lights up as soon as you move your mouse over it. Also, the mouse cursor shows a hand-indicator and you will see a tooltip that tells you to double-click to open the view.
One linked view
If one view is linked, it will open immediately when you double click on the freeshape.
Multiple linked view
If multiple views are linked, a list of views is displayed. Clicking on the view you want to see, opens it.
It is also possible that a view has been removed by the owner or that you don't have access to a view.
In these cases, you will see an orange exclamation mark in front of the title of the toolbox
By clicking on one of these views you will get an error message.
