As a user you can control the selection of objects that has to be placed on the canvas from the “spider”, in order to minimize unnecessary delete actions after adding the objects on the canvas. When you click on the spider tool, you expand a multiselect dropdown list of object types in which you can select which relations you want to make visible. You can also search for objects with which you want to have a relationship. Type the object you are looking for in the search bar. Below you can see how the Spider tool works in an animation.
In addition, you can also show the derived relations for object types. Click on the button for the drop-down menu. You’ll get a different drop-down menu, which contains all object types from the repository. If you click on an object type, BlueDolphin will check whether a derived relationship exists, so this may take a while before everything is visible. Below you can see how it works in a GIF.
